About Me

Hello! I'm a psychiatrist who specializes in helping women function at their optimal level. I believe in the importance of treating each person as a unique individual, as well as the value of integrating medication treatment with therapy, lifestyle changes, and complementary and alternative approaches.

I am committed to providing compassionate, attentive, and respectful care while ensuring that visits are collaborative and educational. I have particular expertise in treating mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and hormonal related mood changes associated with menstruation, perimenopause, pregnancy, and the postpartum period.

For increased flexibility, I provide telepsychiatry services through a secure online video service, to women in Virginia. In person visits are also available in Alexandria, VA.
