Emily Sheldon, MD

Dr. Emily Sheldon is an outpatient psychiatrist in Denver with over ten years' experience in medication management for a variety of mental health needs, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention disorders, psychosis, and trauma history.

Dr. Sheldon completed her medical training at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, graduating in 2008, and then completed a general adult psychiatry residency at the University of Colorado in Denver, finishing in 2014.    

After completing residency training, Dr. Sheldon worked in community mental health for Denver County for over a decade treating the wide range of people that make up our city.    

Dr. Sheldon has a special interest in helping women with the mental health needs through the many chapters of their lives.  She feels she brings both her educational background as well as personal life experience as a working wife and mother herself to this important work.
