I am a Board certified Adult Psychiatrist educated at Princeton University, Stanford University, UCSF, and Harvard Medical School, in practice over 15 years. I treat a wide range of problems, including mood, anxiety, OCD, addiction, trauma, ADHD, marital, identity, and interpersonal disorders. You don't need to suffer alone. I have the expertise to help you. With good treatment, you will feel and function better. I offer you warmth, insight, honesty, intelligence, and my promise to help you find a path to wellness.

Treatment can be a time-limited focus on a particular problem. It can be the evolving care of a longstanding illness. And it can be the careful exploration of your complex psychological depths with the long term goal of insight, growth and lasting change. We use whatever tools I can think of to help you, including medications if they make sense to us.

I believe in psychotherapy that is shaped to meet your unique needs. I listen. I guide. I do not judge you. I rely on honesty, humor, and trust. I recommend medications when appropriate, and always with extensive discussion. My focus in treatment is the clinical relationship between us and our ability to create positive change for you.
