Please register your free LUMINELLO patient portal first by doing this:

1) Click the CONSULTATION REQUEST tab (upper right corner on this page).

2) Carefully read the statement and proceed if you are not in an emergency situation. If you are in an emergency, please leave this website now, call 911 or go immediately to your nearest Emergency Room.

3) Complete the brief registration form, click NEXT.

4) Create your own LUMINELLO patient portal. Log into it and click the SCHEDULE tab. Check off either "Video Call" OR "In-Office" preference. Next, select the appointment type from the drop-down menu. Lastly, select the date and time and complete the booking.

FEES:

Payment of fees is expected in full when scheduling services and before you arrive for an appointment unless otherwise agreed upon. You may select to use the BILLING tab in LUMINELLO to store your bank card details for charges to be processed.

INITIAL DIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT – $ 750

ONGOING TREATMENT/FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT – $ 350

BILLS/INVOICES: 

Please generate the bills (for insurance claims) through the BILLING tab after your initial appointment. Use the "Save Statement as PDF" button. These are valid when the diagnosis code is listed on them. I will enter the code(s) into your electronic chart once we complete the Initial Diagnostic Assessment together. The code(s) will then be on the bills you generate/save as PDFs.

ABOUT INSURANCE:

I do not take private health insurance directly. I am considered an out-of-network provider. Working independently from insurance allows you to choose exactly how your treatment should be structured. It also provides you with more privacy protection. If you do have health insurance with out-of-network coverage, my online services provide you with detailed bills for all appointments. You can then send them to your health insurance provider for reimbursement.

Although this can vary widely, the compensation is commonly at 50% to 80% of the local psychiatrist fees. You can select to have Reimbursify.com service do it for you for a small cost. Your detailed bills can be created/saved as files/printed under the BILLING tab of your free LUMINELLO portal.

I understand that health insurance can be confusing. I provide a short handout with written instructions on what exactly to ask your health insurance representative and determine your exact reimbursement benefits. You can locate this handout in your LUMINELLO portal (under the DOCUMENTS tab) upon registering and before you schedule or pay for appointments.
